Bring bold colour and nature-inspired detail to your table with this Tropical Dragonflies coaster. The vibrant illustration features dragonflies drawn from photographs taken in Marrakech, Morocco, layered against lush green foliage for a striking, maximalist look.
Handcrafted in the UK by a family-run business, this durable round coaster is made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus wood with a protective baked melamine coating and a cork base. Designed for everyday use, it’s heat resistant up to 160°C and ideal for brightening coffee tables, desks and dining spaces.

Yes. Our melamine products are 100% Food Safe. To prevent potential damage, please avoid cutting directly on the placemats with sharp knives. Although these mats are very hardwearing, they are not double-sided like our chopping boards and knife marks will be visible.
OUR MELAMINE PRODUCTS
For our melamine range of products; which currently includes coasters, placemats and cutting boards, our manufacturers use a sustainably forested Eucalyptus Board which is 100% PEFC certified and 100% formaldehyde free. This ensures we provide the needs of the present, without compromising the needs of the future. The cork used on the back of our placemats and coasters is also sustainably farmed in Portugal. All of our materials are sourced as close to the UK as possible, aiming to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible.
Rejects and off cuts are used to fuel a local power station, instead of using coal power. Wood dust goes towards compost. The backing paper on the cork is used in packing goods for despatch.
OUR PACKAGING
- FSC Certified, acid free tissue paper or paper "bubble wrap" will be used to wrap all of our products.
- Kraft tape which is fully recyclable and free from animal products.
- Biodegradable and Compostable cello bags which are made from vegetable starch.
- Recyclable cardboard envelopes or boxes.
- Sometimes for larger orders, we will reuse packaging.
Bean and Bemble products will be supplied to you beautifully packaged with either our branded belly band, swing tags, label or box, ready for your customers to purchase. We ensure packaging is kept to a minimum without compromising on style, and always use recyclable paper and card for our postal packing materials.
All our branded packaging is manufactured right here in the UK too. We always try to source our packaging as close to home as possible. Orders will usually be sent out in plain brown packaging - yes it isn't as glamorous as we'd like, but it's much easier to recycle! We even use brown paper parcel tape instead of plastic to seal the package!
As a small business, we look for innovative solutions to help us reduce waste, like reusing supplier shipping boxes for wholesale or larger orders - so we're sorry if your order arrives looking a little battered ;) we promise the contents will be totally gorgeous!

IMPORTANT: We always aim to combine items into as few parcels as possible to keep shipping costs as low as we can. However, some products are made or shipped from different locations or production partners, so they may arrive separately. Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout.

Most products are held in our West Yorkshire studio and are usually dispatched the same or next working day.
Made to order items
Some products are made especially for you. Lead times will be shown on the individual product page within the Shipping Information section.
Certain items such as Art Prints and Phone Cases are produced in the country closest to the customer. We have manufacturing facilities in the UK, EU, US and Australia. This helps avoid customs fees and reduces shipping distances.

DISPATCH & DELIVERY TIMES
Most in-stock items are dispatched within 1–2 working days.
Some products are made to order or shipped directly from our production partners and therefore have their own lead times. Please check the individual product page for specific details.
This includes items such as cushions, lampshades, footstools, doormats, mobile phone cases and art prints.

You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been shipped. Sometimes you may receive several dispatch notifications when products are shipped separately.

RETURNS:
For items other than those indicated below, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase and wish to return it for a refund, please ensure that the goods are returned in perfect saleable condition, in their original packaging, and with invoice as proof of purchase within 14 days of receipt to: Bean and Bemble, 20 Market Street, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, HX7 6AA.
Our returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
If a personalised print arrives with the wrong information where the customer has emailed the wrong details, we will re-print for 30% less than the original cost price. If we have made a mistake with the spelling or details on the print, please let us know and we will re-print it for free. If the item does not arrive, please let us know ASAP via the contact page or email.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS:
Products that have been “Handmade to Order” or "Printed to Order", unless faulty - if you are concerned about colour matching, please contact us to discuss this before placing your order and we can try arrange for a colour sample to be sent out. We cannot guarantee products will look exactly as you see on screen due to colour calibration differences.
MOBILE PHONE CASES:
With so many models and sizes of phone cases on offer, we make each case to order and they are therefore not returnable unless faulty. Returns are not accepted if you’ve ordered the wrong size case. If you realise you’ve ordered the wrong size, please let us know and we'll do our best to help. If you’re unhappy with your phone case for any reason at all, please get in touch by emailing hello@beanandbemble.com.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please reply to your confirmation email letting us know what and why you would like to return a product(s) before sending it back.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error or our carriers error.
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
REFUNDS (If applicable):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (If applicable):
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first please check your bank account again.
Next, please contact your bank or credit card company. There is often some processing time before a refund is completed.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@beanandbemble.com and we will look into the issue.
FAULTY GOODS
We inspect all our products thoroughly before dispatch and have high quality control. However, if you have received your order and an item is faulty or appears to have been damaged in transit, please contact us within 14 working days of receiving the item so we can arrange for a replacement.
EXCHANGES (If applicable):
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please send us an email at hello@beanandbemble.com and we will exchange your item providing we have stock.
SHIPPING:
To return a product, please email us request our return address if you do not have it.
Unless defective, the buyer is responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning the item.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Please note that Bean and Bemble cannot assume any responsibility for return packages that are lost, stolen, or mishandled, so please ensure you choose a tracked and signed-for service to return your items and retain the tracking numbers for reference.
