Inspired by a love for the Arts and Crafts Movement, Tranquillity gives a contemporary twist on this traditional style. It combines detailed hand drawn British plants and flowers put into reflected and repeating patterns with calm, soothing, easy to live with classic colour palettes. Our signature Tranquillity palette of black and green combines fresh sage and eau de nil, with pale pink, lilac and black to maintain a fresh young vibe with a nod to the traditional. These tones complement recent colour trends such as millennial pink and work beautifully with popular styles such as Art Deco influenced interiors.

The colourful world of Bean and Bemble was founded in 2020 by Michelle Dodds, a surface pattern and print designer. Designed in Yorkshire and sustainably made in the UK.
Bean and Bemble, specialise in colourful gifts and home décor. We have a growing range of colourful kitchenware and dining accessories, cotton bags, greeting cards and striking wall art. Our products are stocked by The RHS (Wisley), and a growing number of independent shops across the UK and overseas.
With a love for beautifully designed interiors and everyday objects, Michelle's unique style blends intricate hand drawn illustrations and a passion for clean and precise digital graphics to create bright, uplifting and modern design collections, all lovingly created in her Brighouse studio.
