Temperature & Use
- Avoid sudden or extreme temperature changes, which can cause fine china to crack.
- We recommend warming your mug before use and allowing freshly boiled water to cool slightly before pouring.
- Never place your mug directly over a flame or use it for cooking.
Cleaning & Care
- Our white-handled bone china mugs are dishwasher safe, although gentle hand washing is recommended to help preserve the colourful design.
- Use warm water, mild washing-up liquid and a soft cloth or sponge.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or harsh scrubbing.
- For stubborn tea or coffee stains, soak in warm, soapy water before gently washing.

OUR BONE CHINA MUGS
Our mugs are crafted to combine elegance and quality. The mugs themselves are made in China, a choice driven by the need to source bone china at a standard of durability and finish that meets our requirements. While we cannot comment on the specific sustainability practices of their overseas production, we remain committed to ethical and responsible practices wherever we have control.
The designs are sublimation printed in the UK by a small, family-run photographic printing business on the Isle of Wight. This ensures exceptional quality and precision in every mug. We are proud to work with a local business that values craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The inks used in the printing process are OEKO-TEX certified. This certification guarantees that the inks are free from harmful substances and meet strict environmental and safety standards, making them safe for use and better for the planet. OEKO-TEX certification also reflects our commitment to supporting responsible and sustainable manufacturing practices wherever possible.
While we strive to improve and adapt, we aim to transition to fully UK-made mugs in the future as demand for this product line grows. This is part of our ongoing effort to reduce our carbon footprint and support local manufacturing.
