There's a particular person on most Christmas lists. They have a dog. The dog is, by some margin, the most photographed member of the household. You have seen more pictures of this dog than of several of your own relatives.
Buying for them ought to be easy and usually isn't, because the shops are full of presents for the dog rather than for the person. They don't need another squeaky pheasant. They'd quite like something nice for themselves that happens to have a dog on it.

If they have a dachshund
